Zac’s thoughts about biblical studies – 1

Exodus and the New Testment

In my musings about the biblical studies I have often thought to myself why is the same story repeated over and over again and it’s often an answer because it’s told over and over again

Answer is is that tradition needs to die out and that mankind needs to shut up and follow God.

A lot of the traditions of a Hebrew people could have been snuffed out in an instant if they had just done what God told them to do.

The following a pagan idols the desecration of the temple the killing of all the enemies of God If people would have just followed God in the first place he would not have judged them and would have questioned them and said thank you for following thank you for doing what I told you you’re worldly still full of sin but as long as you follow me and follow my word I will see that that righteousness that man still falls short and still thinks of himself is nothing more than a bug to be squished. But then that’s where tradition comes in at, tradition tells the people that they are God’s children so therefore it is very difficult to sin against Him as long as they follow the traditions of their fathers. They can maintain their childhood without realizing God just desires a relationship with each individual.

So hence is our tradition that get in the way of us breaking down and falling away from God. Our tradition of doing went with our panics though the Bible does say to honor your father and mother it is often that rebellious nature of trying to get away from our biblical standings our biblical morality that says shouldn’t you just rebellion against us done.

Anyway, all that to say, maybe it is our traditions that get in the way of our worship to God.
