“I am not strong enough.”
I thought the same thing. But if one accepts the challenge, and pushes through, one gains strength and courage to do the near impossible tasks.
“I’m too old.”
I got news for you, the Army will accept you even at 35 and the Coast Guard will accept even at 45. As long as you step up and accept the challenge, the military will most likely work with you to make sure that you succeed.
Even before you go to basic the recruiter will place you on a recommended diet and exercise routine. If one is serious they will do all that they can to make sure that you succeed at MEPS. But whether you pass or not depends on your dedication. Consider that the first challenge.
72 days of service or two days a month for 3 years, one gains college paid for and Healthcare for the rest of your life. Sounds like a great deal to me
I bet you could if you would but try. I would recommend that all adults should serve the guard to have respect for the country they live in.
I didn’t think I could for a long time but I found a recruiter that wouldn’t give up on meIt is physically demanding but not dangerous.
And I think that is what a lot of people are afraid of is the pure challenge. I thought the same thing.
But if one accepts the challenge, and pushes through, one gains strength and courage
The army will challenge you but it is nothing that the sargeants know that you can’t do. The point of the army is to showcase how strong the individual is. More than they think before enlisting.
