I have seen the face of God

I have traced His Outline with my fingertips

I have sensed His warmth

I have done this

And He has been harnessed.

…or so I thought

If there is one thing that God dislikes

It is being caged

Man has harnessed the energy of infinite power.

But harnessing is not the same as commanding it.

For I have felt the Breath of God

And my body has forgotten how to heal

I am decaying while I am still alive

What is life under a harnessed god?

Death alone I say.
