Blue Eyes, Blonde Hair

I’ll never forget her

Not after years of hell

Her smile, rare that it was

Was like a sunrise after a thunderstorm

But it was her eyes that I remember best

A crystal blue lake is envious of her eyes

Their depth could peer into a man’s soul

Know all his wrongs and rights

She knew me before I uttered a word

With a flip of her hair she said nothing

And I was alone again.
