To Trevor Madison,
Minister of Scientific Exploration of the Spiritual Realm,
Good day sir. I thank you for your response to my endeavors and experiences to the animals of the universe. It is an interesting concept, that of thankfulness. Though you may not realize it very well, any positive feelings that you project are actually trinkets of spirits being blessed and seeking nearby others to latch onto. It is through this thought process that I was able to determine the difference between good and evil. What is otherwise known as Light and Dark.
Light Spirits are made of those that emanate goodness with even the smallest act of saying pleasant words such as thank you or hello. Words like these have power that no one realized that they had. Spirits that live within us often get projected out and shown to others nearby. It is when they latch onto others that they really begin to work. When the small spirits latch, they begin to glow and uplift the larger spirit. It would seem that light intensifies and makes the larger spirit seem more whole.
Dogs are often the givers and receivers of light spirits. They have an awe inspiring sense of joy that is difficult to tarnish. It is only through a sense of evil that dogs feel fear and their joy is diminished. It is usually men that tarnish that spirit, men get some sort of twisted joy over gaining control and domination over creatures that seem to them to be less in stature. These dependents that get lorded over are seen as no more than. It is in this form of domination that the opposite sort of spirits come into play, the dark spirits.
Those seen as the dark spirit revel in their dark power. They enjoy the sick twistedness of the power that they have. Most human spirits that have tasted this often seek to gain more and more of it. This is where the term black souls comes from. Though pirates in the mid 1700’s may not have realized it. I fear that if men that ruled out of fear than respect they probably shrank into the darkness that surrounds the spiritual realm. But who am I to judge the dead? For I am but an observer of the events that take place in this world and greater universe.
Light and Dark are two sides of the same coin, most coins have a third side that is the edge. Through some sort of massive contradiction, most people have a good mix of both Light and Dark. They have tasted both and enjoyed it when they have them. It is a pain and pleasure that humans have endeavored to have all of their lives
May Peace surround you,
Rufus Gand
