Winter’s wife – 2

Have you seen the White Lady?

She was seen once over the Pacific,

In a fighter plane,

During World War Two,

In the skies of Bougainville,

The air has gone cold in these south ocean seas,

A lone craft drops from formation,

The pilot unresponsive,

No enemy ships in sight,

No AA fire,

The plane falls into the ocean,

With no response,

The plane must remain,

As pitched dogfights continue,

As planes retreat,

A lone destroyer is seen on the horizon,

The ship came across a foggy area,

There in the middle of the fog laid an Iceberg,

In the middle of the berg,

Could be seen a Japanese Zero,

Clear as day,

For the pilot had seen the White Lady,

And she is Winter’s wife,

And He is a jealous husband.
