No one remembers the last time it snowed,

Nay there is none that recalls,

The blank white canvas,

Pain and sorrow forgotten in the new unbrokeness,

The deepening cold,

The storm that past in the night,

The warmth of togetherness,

Our family came together for a holiday,

The candles that were lit, 

As the power was out,

The blankets and pillows,

All the warmth in the world,

Is contained with within the cold.
