To Herschal,

Are you having fun? It is a question that I pose to my clients all the time. For fun seems to be their reason for living. They toss away all their responsibilities and care and for the self-serving purpose of having fun. This current generation is perhaps the most fruitful in this endeavor. I don’t have to suggest it too hard as their need for free will and independence is well ingrained in their souls. Indeed, the device of the Enemy that was meant to give life can also give death. Reason for life is the feeling of death.

A prime example of this can be seen through children. Their innocence is often corrupted by their own parents. Their parents had fun one night and the child was the  accident that fun created. Instead of seeing their procreation has something joyous, as the Enemy intended, they see the child as a hindrance, as something that is a hindrance to their own fun. They will often ignore and regret the decision to have fun for that day or night. This is where the transition from fun to tedious comes into play.

A child abandoned by the mother and father, is often taken in by the family. Not just any sort of family but the caregiver that often raised one of the parents. The grandmother is often the one that cares and grows with the child. The older generation is dying away and they will be mourned by their children’s children and not by their children. Their life that has come to the end of their cycle must be put back to the grind and raise a new generation.

The parents have their freedom again but they have placed shackles on their own parents. A child that is supposed to be joyous is often condemning.

Sincerely,

Your mentor, Nailbed
