My dreams as a child 

Were to vanquish dragons 

Rescue maidens

Gain treasure 

Seek adventures 

Not know sleep until weariness took me

As a teen my dreams were

To finish school with passing grades

To meet girls to gain their trust

To get a car

To get a paycheck

To do stupid things

To not know rest until the school day began

As a young adult my goals were

To finish college

To get married

To have a kid

To gain a good job

To get a house

To see the world 

To gain good friends 

As an adult

My goal is to leave my apartment 

My goal is to find a wife

My goal is to find a rent house and build equity,

My goal is to gain a credit card and build a history

My goal is to be an influence without others knowing it

In my future I dream

That others will reference me

That my fame will be on tongues

Not through eyes 

I dream that my past and present

Will be seen not as a fable

But as an example 

I still dream of slaying the dragon
