Fire of the red seems to be her true quality,
For what has more ambition than that color,
The color of fire,
The true life giving power of blood,
The salvation of men through the power.
Long have I sought her,
Through disappointments,
Through disasters,
Through illogical patterns of lust and envy,
She shines brightly on the horizon,
Like a star begging to be chased on the open sea.
The woman that I have sought lies far and away,
But it seems like she is near enough that I can touch,
Grip and grasp,
Grab and hold,
Keep her close.
But alas a star on the horizon is never meant,
To be caught by a simple man,
For I do not deserve her shinning light in my hand.
