Devil’s Advocate

I have a question concerning the most present debacle. You know that four police officers killed an unarmed forger. Now my question is, why are these men not being congratulated for protecting the modern American society? The forger willingly, knowingly stole from law-abiding American citizens. The man would likely break the law again. These are laws that are set up for the average citizen’s protection, these are laws that criminal’s ignore for their own benefit and gain. Now, if I knew that laws could be ignored or discarded at a whim with no consequences, why then what is to stop the average joe from going on a bloodly rampage or steal everybody’s money all the time? These police officer killed a man, true. But how many people did that criminal effect on a daily basis? How many lives did this man destroy? How much of the tax payer do you think he stole? How many false promises do you think he made? People’s lives and dreams were destroyed this man. All the officers did was prevent future dreams from being destroyed. If your idenity had been stolen by a forger wouldn’t you want some justice for the crime?
