I once had a dog that was colored pink
I once had a kitten that had no name
But I never had to name it
A hamster that fought a rooster and won
He couldn’t fly, so he was born to be
A hamster that fights a rooster and wins
The pets that I have own are strange and mischievous
The ones who are wise and kind are just as wise and kind as I am
I am happy and I am sad
I hope that they have found peace in their pet cemetery
I hope that the flowers will not stain their lawn
Or go against the grain of their tombstones
